Update - The Wellington Wedding Show - 2009

Let’s start with good news.  The Wellington Wedding Show is all booked out for 2009.  I am preparing for a great year and am also happy to announce that Wellington will be hosting a second wedding show each year on the first weekend of October starting in 2009.

 

Invoices/Confirmation

All exhibitors would have received their confirmation /Invoice for 2009.

Please make payments by the required dates stated on your invoice.

 

All details that will be placed in The Wellington Wedding Show booklet are what we have recorded on your invoice/confirmation, if you wish to make changers please email: [email protected].  If you do not advise I will take it that what is shown is what we have to print.

 

Photography

I have received many requests from exhibitors wanting to use the photos taken at the show.  As you may know for several years I have contracted Rob Driessen as the official photographer to do the photography at the Wellington Wedding Show. These photos are used only for the promotion of the wedding show itself, like on my website, posters, advertising in magazines, wedding show booklet etc. Apart from promoting our wedding show, the photos are never forwarded or sold to other businesses, so your unique creative flair and design is safe with us. There are a few simple ‘rules’ in regards to the wedding show photos:

  • Rob Driessen owns copyright of the photos, Rob trades in accordance with the NZIPP conditions of trade.
  • If you would like to use some of the photos, contact Rob Driessen directly (www.rdphotography.co.nz). Typically the use of these photos will be free of charge, on the provision the images are clearly credited.

 

Giveaway Bags

I am please to announce that this year the BNZ will be supplying all bags for our bride and grooms.  These will be filled with lots of goodies not to mention the new Wellington Wedding Show booklet.  If you have vouchers or giveaways please contact: [email protected].

 

Posters

Over the next few weeks we will circulating posters for shop windows, please let me know if you have missed out and I will have them delivered to you.

 

Websites

It is really important that if you have a website please advertise the Wellington Wedding Show and link the gorgeous wedding show site to your own.

The Wellington Wedding Show has again secured a slot the week prior.

 

 

 

Exhibitors Information Sheet

 

The 2009 Wellington Wedding Show

Saturday 2 May  5.30pm – 8.30pm

Sunday 3 May 10.30am – 3.30pm

 

All stands are to be manned prior to doors opening each day. Please do not be late on each of the days.

 

PACK IN Days and Times - 

Friday             1 May 2009  9.30am – 6.00pmDoors close at 6pm

Saturday          2 May 2009  - from 9.00am

Sunday            3 May 2009 -   from 8.30am

 

Exhibitor Passes – 2 have been allocated to each stand – These will be given to you upon your arrival at the venue.  When arriving please make your way to the Information area located at the first floor - Front of the escalators.

 

Coffee/Tea Vouchers – Vouchers are redeemable at the coffee stand.  Tea is available in the exhibitors lounge – located in the chaffers room.  These will be given out with exhibitor passes upon your arrival.  Available only on Sunday.

 

Food and Beverages – Available from Zarbo’s café located across the road from The Overseas Terminal Function Centre.

 

Pack out – All stands are to be dismantled from 3.30pm on Sunday – No Earlier.  Everything from your stand will need to be removed on Sunday.  If you require a pick up on Monday please advise the organsier to arrange this service

 

Hireage -        If you require any additional Tables or hireage equipment please contact Angela.

 

Stand Theming –All walls are to be covered or draped.  This does not apply to The Azzurra, Chaffers, Nautica Room or areas without walls or sides – static areas. 

 

Parking – First in First served basis.  Please remember – DO NOT PARK IN THE MARINA CAR PARK LOCATED AT THE FRONT OF THE VENUE (outside Subway).  Pay and Display will operate - $7.00 per full day. 

 

Bag Giveaways/Vouchers/Samples  Bags will be given to all that enter and pay at the door – If you wish to include a giveaway/voucher/ discount card or sample please contact Angela prior to 12 April 2009.  If you are an exhibitor a charge of $350.00 + GST will applies.

 

Lighting – All lighting is to be placed by the venue – Due to amount of power been drawn for the weekend – no exhibitor is to bring in their own lighting as this will cause major problems for the venue and for the event.

 

Power - This also applies for power – If you have requested power you will be allocated power – IF YOU HAVE NOT AND WISH TO HAVE POWER – PLEASE ADVISE ASAP

 

Payments – FULL PAYMENTS ARE required by the 9TH April 2009.  No payment, No stand!!  Please also check your confirmed requirements that a stated on your invoice along with your business name and ALL contact details FOR THE BOOKLET.

 

2010 Wellington Wedding Show – This has been booked for the first weekend of May 2010.   To avoid disappointment please register your interest when you receive your evaluation form on Sunday and this will guarantee you a placement for 2010.  This is to be held at The TSB Arena and will be the only wedding show held at this venue.
