Achy feet. Sore face from smiling too much. Total post-party exhaustion. I almost felt like I’d got married again on Sunday! And hey, that’s pretty much what is was – one huge wedding with all these amazing, happy people coming and talking to you!

It was a day of positive vibes, good cheer and great energy. We’ve done several Wedding Shows now, and this was by far the one with the most amazing crowd – all the brides and grooms were so wonderful. It was an honour to meet so many of you, hear a little of your story and tell you a bit about ours. Yes, MR&MRS magazine is written for you, profiling couples just like you, who planned their weddings using the very best local exhibitors. There are big and small, creative and traditional, unique and wonderful weddings in our magazine and we hope you like issue 4 of MR&MRS magazine as much as we enjoyed making it for you!

We had so much lovely feedback, so many happy prize winners who scored Butlers chocolates, Antipodes packs, Juicy Couture Fragrance and Swan Cakes cupcakes!!! Lucky lucky people! All the prizes were totally divine and went to amazing and deserving brides and grooms. Remember to follow our Facebook page closely, as there will be more where they came from! And in case you are wondering why the beautiful Paula looks particularly gorgeous in the below shots, it’s because she’s wearing a beautiful top from Charlie Brown and a stunning necklace from Miglio.

As for the exhibitors, we can not praise them enough. If you have not yet had a chance to check out our impressive Wellington Wedding Show photo gallery from yesterday (as shot by the super talented Jess O’Brien) then you must do so! The shots are amazing and portray the extraordinary talents present in the wedding industry, right here in the coolest little capital. It is unreal and you really had to see it to believe it. The efforts and lengths our exhibitors went to were just incredible. The imagination and effort was second to none. Exhibitors take a bow, we applaud you!
